D.C. (Doctor of Chiropractic), C.C.S.P (Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician) Dr. Tom was the founder of Life Wellness Center in 1999 and serves as the current clinic director as well as Chiropractic treatment provider. He graduated from Rosemount, MN in 1990, Concordia College, Moorhead MN in 1994 and Northwestern College of Chiropractic in 1998. Dr. Tom has a passion for helping people realize the benefits of making choices to positively impact their health and specifically enjoys working with young athletes for optimal performance and injury prevention. Dr. Tom currently live in the Elko/New Market area with his wife Jean and their 5 children. In his spare time Dr. Tom enjoys hunting, fishing, mountain biking, competing in triathlons, coaching youth hockey and dabbling in farming.
Dr. Shannon is a second generation Chiropractor and has served as a treating Chiropractor with Life Wellness Center since 2006. He is passionate about wellness and sharing that with others, helping them gain knowledge and the necessary skills to optimize their health and the health of their families. Dr. Shannon has specific expertise in nutrition, sports injuries, and is a Certified Ergonomic Professional able to do corporate ergonomic workshops as well as onsite and virtual ergonomic evaluations. He resides in Burnsville with his wife Susan, has 3 children and 2 grandchildren. His hobbies include hunting, mountain biking, traveling and cross country skiing. He loves the outdoors and his hobbies.
Dr. Mary grew up in Duluth, MN where her love for sports first introduced her to chiropractic. It was after seeing such great results that she developed a strong passion for chiropractic and decided to pursue a career in helping people. She enjoys treating people of all ages and has a special interest in the health and wellness of women and children. As a Webster certified practitioner, Dr. Mary works with pregnant women to help reduce the effects of pelvic misalignment and restore normal function and balance to the body. This specific technique can help throughout pregnancy to decrease pain and aid for a natural and effective labor and delivery!
Dr. Mary is passionate about helping people get well and stay well by living a healthy and active lifestyle. In her free time, Dr. Mary enjoys traveling, yoga, running and spending time with family and friends. She currently resides in Lakeville with her husband, daughter and dog.
Dr. Williams is a recent Doctorate of Physical Therapy graduate from the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND. She is excited to start her new career with the Life Wellness Center. She is passionate about helping people return to their active lifestyles and empowering them to have the knowledge to prevent further injuries. Dr. Williams is a 230 – registered yoga instructor and fitness instructor. She teaches group cycle, fitness yoga and a variety of other classes. In her spare time she loves training for races, biking, volunteering, cooking, traveling and cuddling her two cats.
Dr. Erin received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Des Moines University in May of 2016. She started her career as a physical therapist in Des Moines at an outpatient sports medicine clinic and is very excited to return to her home state of Minnesota and join the Life Wellness Center team. Erin enjoys working with people of all ages and with a variety of injuries. She specifically enjoys helping her patients reach their goals whatever they may be, promoting a healthy and active lifestyle and improving body awareness and mechanics in order to prevent further injury down the road. Erin lives in New Prague with her husband Tony, dog Max, and they are expecting their first baby in October. Outside of work, Erin enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exercising – resistance training, running, and pilates, reading, cooking and baking, and spending time outdoors.
Linda moved to Lakeville with her husband to start a family and has been blessed with two children. Linda has enjoyed supporting her husband’s business, being a mom, a caregiver for her parents, and volunteering in the community. Her mission is to show people that it is possible to feel amazing in their bodies and assist them with weight loss.
Karen came to Life Wellness Center in the summer of 2003, back then we were called Life Chiropractic Health & Wellness. Our small office was located the lower level of the Pleasant Hills Saddle Shop. She has had many roles at LWC since her initial part time front desk position. The transition to the new clinic in 2005 brought more responsibility and the job of clinic manager. Recently she got married and has moved into a part time position of handling the marketing for the clinics. She loves spending time with her new husband, 4 awesome kids and friends!
Alex comes to Life Wellness Center from the Peace Garden State, North Dakota. Licensed since 2009 she has developed a practice to help others get well and stay well through good muscle health. Trained in modalities such as hot stone, cupping, stretching techniques, kinesiology taping, prenatal, deep tissue, therapeutic, and relaxation massage she continually looks for ways to better serve her clients. Alex enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, Zumba, and board games.
Lynda, our director of first impressions, has been with Life Wellness Center since 2007. Lynda enjoys the challenges that come with managing the seemingly unlimited tasks of running the front desk. She enjoys the many patients she gets to know and helps in their journey to better health and wellness. In her off time Lynda enjoys time with friends, husband Mike and their 3 daughters.
Christina joined LWC in September 2017. She works at our front desk and helps out in the billing department. You can find her at both clinics and she is thriving in the upbeat and family like atmosphere! In her home life, she loves playing with her two dogs Zoe and Koa and cheering on the Wild and Vikings! She also fosters puppies and dogs for SecondhandHounds which is a big passion of hers. She is looking forward to seeing the healing and transforming experiences our patients and clients have at our clinic!
Zach recently graduated from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities, with a B.S. in Kinesiology and plans to continue to chiropractic school in a couple of years. After withstanding injuries as a high school athlete, he was inspired to pursue a career in the rehabilitative health field. As a therapy assistant, he loves the opportunity to help other people in the same way others helped him. In his free time, he volunteers as a youth wrestling coach in the north metro area. He also enjoys watching sports and reading fiction novels.
Jared is a student at the University of St. Thomas currently finishing up with a degree in exercise science. When he’s not at LWC or studying for school, he like to skateboard and yoga. Jared is a student and a teacher in both aspects; he teaches at skateboard camps for children in the summer and yoga classes. He likes to move!
Adam graduated from DePauw University in 2015 with a B.A. in Kinesiology, and is planning to continue on to a Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Before joining the Life Wellness Center team, he worked as a personal trainer and is a Certified Exercise Physiologist with the American College of Sports Medicine. Adam became passionate about rehabilitative medicine through his own experience with injuries as an athlete in high school and college. In his free time, he is an avid golfer and mountain biker, and loves watching Minnesota sports.
Mikayla has been with Life Wellness Center since 2015 and has worked in multiple roles. She started out as a chiropractic assistant but moved into a position in the insurance department in June of 2016. She is very analytical and detailed-oriented, and loves the daily challenges the insurance world brings. Mikayla’s family plays a huge part in her life so off time is usually spent hanging out with her 3 siblings, parents or close friends. She also loves to sing, read and travel.
Tami has been with Life Wellness Center since 2012. She is extremely busy keeping up on the challenges patient’s insurance benefits brings. Tami Enjoys many things away from work including baking, 80’s hairbands, photography, volunteering and takes her “Hockey mom” role very SERIOUSLY!
